These shaded relief maps complement our Mercator Basemaps. Like the Basemaps, they are Mercator projections, they contain topographic details and no other markings, and we have created them for customers who need a background map for their project. However, these maps also feature a latitude-longitude border, a height legend, and a title, and they make attractive wall decorations in their own right.

The maps are all 15 megapixels in size (excluding the border), large enough for a useful-sized print, and cost just €6 each. They have all been made from our 1 km database of world elevations, so there is plenty of topographic detail. To read more about the maps and to see some typical details, click HERE.

The maps are supplied as full-colour (24-bit) images. For delivery purposes, they have been compressed just once at a 100% JPEG quality setting. We recommend you save them in uncompressed (.bmp) or lossless compressed (.png, .tif) format after you first open the file.

In the catalogue on this and following pages, the map thumbnails are presented in the order World-Americas-Europe-Africa -Asia-Australasia. Click on any thumbnail to go to a special page for that map, where you can view a large image and read the map details. On the World map page, you will also find a large (60 megapixel) version of the map for just €9!
