This map collection complements our Mercator Basemaps. The maps similarly show only topography, and are designed as base maps for you to mark up to illustrate your project or brochure, although most of the maps also make attractive decorative items in their own right.

The maps are orthographic projections, meaning the features of the maps appear as they would if viewed vertically downward from a point in space. In this respect, they offer a more “natural” view than the Mercator maps, particularly for areas at higher latitudes.

The maps are offered at up to three sizes, depending of the geographical area covered. All maps are offered at a standard small size of 1800 x 1800 pixels, which is suitable if your output medium is Letter- or A4-size paper. A 2700 x 2700 pixel version of most maps is also available, which you may prefer if you intend to print on B- or A3-size paper. For selected maps covering large areas, we also offer a large 3600 x 3600 pixel version. Sizes currently available for each map (S, M, L) are indicated in the map catalogue on this and the next two pages. Prices are €3, €6, and €9 for the standard, medium, and large versions respectively.

We also offer a free extra-large 900 x 900 pixel thumbnail of each map. Click on the “Open Free Version” link on each map page to open and save this version to your computer.
